If you want one to infuse, get the Zweihander.This also works vs players. In DS2, two handing weapons does not increase damage. The only difference in one-hand versus two hand is moveset, you need less str to wield weapons with 2 hands, and two handed ultra weapon class attacks cannot be parried. While I don't necessarily disagree, I like the Pursuer's Ultra Greatsword more. For a straight strength-focused build, the Greatsword is probably the better choice though. Pursuer's requires 8 more in dex, and scales great with strength and decent with dex, while the regular Greatsword scales amazingly with strength and barely with dex. It scales mainly with dexterity probably like 70 dex and go to like 25 faith then use Golden vow and flame grant me strength. Flame grant me strength isn't always the best but for level-wise it's the best option for the build. It has one of my favorite weapon art, which hits like a truck and has super cool animation.I've faced the pursuer's greatsword. And i've never been killed by it, not once. So i find it hard to believe personally that it's overpowered. Stunlock the, roll away, come back. Or even try to parry, given it is an ultra greatsword.
