Still Haven't Had a Superior Spawn (750+ bloodvelds, 300+ aberrant spectres, etc.) So I have been through about 6 superior-eligible tasks and killed over 1000 monsters and still haven't seen a superior spawn. I double checked to make sure that I have Bigger and Badder enabled a few times, which I do.
