Not sure how different mobile is, but on PC, your first ascension should be after you complete zone 130 because that's when you're no longer guaranteed HS after every 10 levels. And then your next ascension will be much quicker and then basically from then on, you ascend whenever it stops being efficient for you to gain the next HS.
