Act 5, the Laughing Caves are part of the ongoing Secrets of Creation quest chain that started way back in Act 2 at a place called Heart of Mystery. Visiting this location is totally optional ...Ahh.. My character didn't learn about it until after Areelu's Lab then. I haven't gotten to this specific puzzle yet, but from what I've read online, you have to use the clues from the other 4 puzzles to figure out the empty spaces on the outside, and they correspond to how "filled" each thing is.
