any tips for after hardmode is good too, but its best if i get this pylon asap. The wiki gives some possible NPC combinations to buy the pylons. Also, arm dealer + nurse works for every biome but snow, and golfer + angler works for every biome except cavern. Once you get the pylon, it's possible to replace the original NPC combo with other NPCs.

The angler likes the party girl and the ocean, but can't sell the pylon due to having no shop menu. The stylist likes the ocean, but is indifferent toward the angler and the party girl. And the party girl likes the stylist, but the ocean isn't her preferred biome. If you want the pylon, just replace the party girl with the dye trader.
