So I used hekate and everything worked fine, until I accidentally updated my switch, and can no longer boot the switch up, even under stock. I need some help as to what I should try to do next …

I pulled it out from the dock, pressed the power button until it turned off. Since then, I'm stuck at the Switch boot logo, either with or without the RCM Loader. The dock and the charger are original Nintendo equipment (I double checked). I tried formatting the SD Card (exFAT) and copying the payload again, newest release, without effect.

Update: When I send payload in RCM mode to launch Hekate after the switch turned off, I get : Panic occured while running Atmosphere. Title ID: 0100000000000000

You basically have 2 switch OS on 1 hardware. In cases, I think mostly relevant for modchipped switches, you need to sync the fw between sysnand and emunand to boot correctly or not introduce any issues by not having same fw.
