If you compare it to the Abyssal Whip, it is a pretty huge stat gain and the stats gained per the cost is at a pretty good ratio. Using some older prices with my custom stat to value formula, Prims were 7M per stat, Rapier 12.4M, Avernic 12.7M, and Tassets 17M.Difference is unnoticeable. The fang also calculates damages differently (it only can max 85% of its max hit) I did a quick calculation and the max hit for fang would be around 52-54. The max hit for rapier 57-59. The only notable slash weak monsters I know of are 2 bosses in ToB, Hespori, and Thermy so the Blade doesn't have too many places it beats Rapier. Depends, if you wanna do CoX then maybe get a rapier or DH lance, if you wanna do ToB keep the blade of Saeldor.
