Health Promotion is a funding source available to community and women's health-funded organisations across Victoria to support local delivery of evidence-based prevention and health promotion initiatives. Over 100 community health services, small rural health services, women’s health organisations and statewide organisations are funded.Since 1980, the Healthy People initiative has set measurable objectives to improve the health and well-being of people nationwide. At the beginning of every decade, we launch a new iteration of the initiative that addresses the latest public health priorities and challenges.
