Don't worry too much about your threads right away though. Going through some of the intro courses (CS 2110, CS 2050, CS 1332 in particular) will help you narrow it down. I came in wanting to do five threads and intelligence wasn't even one of them, but I found the ones that were best for me after a year or so. You've got plenty of time.
