Unfortunately, Apple will pick one item or another that they will basically put "on sale" for Phi Kappa Phi members. It is sporadic and generally not on anything tremendously useful, such as a Macbook. In short, the "discount" programs are next to useless gimmicks. If you join, do not join for these reasons.
