BUT, I did build an attachment, that is along the lines of a soil pulverizer. Actually my design was inspired by a SP, but, I modified the design to not dig-in as much as the SP does.What you need is a boxblade, landscape rake, pine straw rake, and a good spreader. 1. Box blade is really good for moving material around to level out an area. A land plane works even better to really lay down a smooth finish. A landscape rake will work really nicely after the box blade to pull out sticks and rocks and roots if you want a clean surface. Buy what you need to do your work and you can always sell them later on.

I've wanted a land plane for my 1500ft gravel drive and know it will do well for leveling. Being able to move some dirt would help. I have a 6ft box on hand too. Will be the first real pulling test for my new-to-me L4240. Tires are filled. The land plane they're selling looks heavy. I'll call for weight.

Land plane all the way for driveway maintenance. I use a box blade a lot....Its not good on a drive way in my opinion. It just digs in and drags the top layer of dirt or whatever else - it doesnt redposite the material back on the driveway like a land plane.
