Your US is most likely a growth scan, but your belly measuring 5 weeks "ahead" is just another way of saying 5 weeks larger. To think of it another way the fundal height of a woman who is about to give birth to a 10 lb baby will be significantly larger than the fundal height of a woman who is about to give birth to a 6 lb baby.howen91.
