I had finished Chapter 2 on a previous save without beating Spamton NEO, so I beat him on a new save, and I recieved the shadow crystal. After saving and loading up my original save, I went to the hole in the wall in the Castle Town where you can get the Shadow Crystal from chapter 1, but there was nothing there.
