Husch winery is a must stop while in Anderson Valley. It is such a small little place. It reminds you of a small cabin. The wine is fabulous. We love the Pinot. The 2010 Cab is a treat. The wine is so nicely priced you can't go wrong. If you want a good wine at a great price try the Mojo Red. You will be surprised.

Navarro Vineyards makes 3 different varieties from California grapes- Pinot Noir, Verjus/Pinot, and Gewüztraminer- and each has a distinct flavor and color. The Verjus was full-on tart, citrusy, tangy- almost a little too powerful, but somehow addictive.

The tasting includes 5 or 6 different wines depending on the time of year. Our tastes included a pinot gris, a gewurtztraminer, a rose of pinot noir, and three different pinot noirs. All were good. The winery produces other varietals as well including merlot and petite sirah.
