Wiki says you can get 80k experience max mining iron, which is 2200 iron ore, which gives you 22 minerals. So you need 9 hrs of iron ore mining which is really click intensive. Alternatively, wiki says you can get 4.5 minerals an hour mining amethyst, which is 45 hrs of afk amethyst mining.
