2h weapons are generally pretty bad DPS, so they aren't good for training. Defenders are members items that go in your shield slot, but mainly give offensive bonuses. You can't get them until you have a combined total of 130 attack and strength, so don't worry about them for now. I know that on my old 70-70-70 account I got about 65,000 XP+ an hour with full obsidian/neck/sword @ Sand Crabs. DH might be more effective once you get your attack higher. I would personally use sara sword + prayer / str bonus and melee pray in NMZ. Thanks for sharing.
