The reason for people to use pen boss gear is just because pen black star is very hard to get, so with pen boss gear and lots of carphras to hit more ap bracket and it is for pvp purpose, for pve tet black star can be still better than pen boss gear even with carphras.Guaranteed PEN Boss Gear Facts: Awakening Weapon (Sol) for Shai is excluded.
