I can smack the altar until it dies (and have done so twice) but the Demon just sits there, laughing with full HP and invincible. Not knowing what was happening, I then attempted to just skip the attack, but then the game "locked" me, it wouldn't end my turn at all and I had to force close the game.

The first attack after opening the door with the Boss and alter results in damage to the alter but not to the Boss. This never syncs back up and it's impossible to win the scenario as the boss is immune to damage.

The special rule for Infernal Throne (scenario 21) says that altar "a" and the prime demon share health and that I can only damage the demon by hitting the altar. My confusion is if I can only hit the altar when it's on position "a" to damage the demon, or if I can hit it in any position and still damage the demon.I think I'm soft locked in this scenario. For me it is so challenging, by the time I am running in the third room, my both characters were almost out of cards or health. Possibly because I am a noob DnD player. I am fine with games like Eldritch Horror, Pandemic but Gloomhaven has beaten me so hard. Edit: Yes, I do aware of the damage cancellation rule.

Altar should either be immune to direct destruction or if destroyed the demon should be killable instead.Finally, here he is!
