While Grenache and Mourvèdre are consistent crops, Syrah can be difficult to grow and is a little less hearty. We were thrilled with the 2019 harvest, however.
Our 2019 Texas Dry Rose varies from the 2018 in a number of ways. With this wine, we harvested the fruit at a lower brix which has created a lighter bodied and more Provance style wine.We recommend this wine 2023-2035. Vineyard Notes. In 1994 Larry and Jeanine Kuhlken planted the vineyard and in 2008 the winery’s tasting room was opened. By nature, the blend is nontraditional. This vintage contains almost all of our 2019 Teroldego which is an inky, jammy variety from northern Italy. Description. Price. Total. Subtotal. $0.00. 2018 Texas Tempranillo Reserve. This blend is quite traditional. We have blended our best Tempranillo lots with other classic, high quality blenders Touriga Nacional and Graciano. While Tempranillo is and big berried and juicy, both Touriga and Graciano are smaller clustered varieties that pack a punch. 2021 was a vintage to remember. The rainier growing season made for some challenges, which we mitigated with longer aging and using our 500L puncheon.
