Heidi’s Village is not a high-volume adoption program but rather a program designed to provide services and boarding to other animal welfare organizations, known as our rescue partners. Our facility houses hundreds of animals, many of which are looking for homes. Rescue Village is a participating shelter in Pets for the Elderly, which is a program that allows senior citizens to adopt a pet. Connecting an elderly person with a homeless companion animal gives both the gift of life, health and happiness.
