However, Crinoid Calyx pieces seem to be rare locally. I found several columns just yesterday, when collecting limestone that yielded this specimen.

I’ve found a few such as these . All in a cluster and all seem to be covered in calcite. Looking forward to hearing what you think. It was found in a creek in Jefferson county Missouri. It is 5”x5”.
