Emperor - IMO this is probably the best difficulty level for a full length, immersive, challenging, high quality 4x game. Playing at emperor difficulty on one of the larger map sizes, at standard or epic speed will feel like a real game.

Very much enjoying Civ6 and all the expansions. Started with the tutorial at the lowest difficulty and have been methodically working my way up. With every difficulty level typically there would be a modest learning curve, but I usually found pay dirt after a couple of attempts. With the King level, however, I seem to have hit a brick wall, and after numerous tries I'm starting to get frustrated.
