Well Glaives might be considered Mele weapons. So it's safe to assume you'll have increased mele range and damage when surrounded with Synthoceps. It'd be kind of a bummer if the Glaives didn't synergize with existing exotics. Though of course they'll most likely make new exotics to pair with them. -1.

You can stack perks like 1-2, damage buff, and synthos for some crazy high damage, because Bungie doesn't understand how to balance damage boosts. IIRC, 1-2 is a 3x, damage buff is a 1.3x, and synthos are a 3x, which is equal to around 10x melee damage if stacked. And that's not even all the things that can stack, those are just the easy ones.Cenotaph Mask. Finally we have the best looking new Exotic (fight me): the Cenotaph Mask for Warlocks. This is a pretty whacky support Exotic that reloads Trace Rifles and marks priority targets by damaging bosses using a Trace Rifle matching your Subclass. When allies get the final blow on a marked target, they get a Heavy ammo drop.
Even tap-firing Thunderclap does NOT seem to amplify damage via a 1-2 Punch shotgun. 1-2 Punch being another 3x multiplier and not working with Thunderclap severely hurts maximum damage output whereby shoulder charge, with a lower damage at base, will work with 1-2 Punch, allowing for a far higher burst damage output. The synthoceps thing doesn't sound like a bug. Like according to that other post I saw now glaives with synthoceps do less damage than uncharged melees with it. Synthoceps helps howl deal even more damage than before as long as you can keep the buff active. I imagine wormgod's caress would also work for this but I don't like the 5 second timer. I also noticed that severance enclouse does work with howl. Armamentarium is an option but I think it loses out to heart overall.The problem with roaring flames is that you either need to set it up before hand or use some of your super to set it up.
