The tabs on each side of the servo have 2 holes each for 4 screws. You'll use 1 hole on each side to mount it on the Xmaxx but the other 2 holes raise up a little too high for the chassis to slide back in. So I cut that part off with a Dremel and then the chassis will slide on. Servo works great.I have one 4s battery and I intend to order the matching battery to run 8s, but I'd like to run the truck around during the weekend. I have an X-Maxx with the 8s Power Upgrade kit in it. So while it's technically capable of running on 8s, I run mine on 6s no problem (I'm using 3 x 2s 5000 mAh packs).
