I am sl 115 and it almost matches the power of ICat, but still ICat outdamages, but at least does not cut MP in half.

My soul level is 91 and stats are VIT 30, INT 15, END 27, STR 27, DEX 27, MAG 16, and FAITH 16. So in conclusion if you are using Talisman of beasts raising faith boosts both faith and magic while raising magic only boosts magic. Since the boosts in the magic category are exactly equal to faith when you raise faith this makes the faith stat a double dipper.
