Digital geospatial data sets of aquifer characteristics have been produced from existing, published paper reports for major aquifers in Oklahoma. The aquifer characteristics compiled include hydraulic conductivity, recharge, water-level elevation, and aquifer boundaries. Abstract. Sixteen aquifers in Arkansas that currently serve or have served as sources of water supply are described with respect to existing groundwater protection and management programs, geology, hydrologic characteristics, water use, water levels, deductive analysis, projections of hydrologic conditions, and water quality.Abstract: This data set represents the extent of the Ozark Plateaus aquifer system in the states of Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Illinois. Purpose: These data delineate the areal extent of the Ozark Plateaus aquifer system as defined in the 'Ground Water Atlas of the United States' (U.S. Geological Survey HA 730).Groundwater in Texas is a valuable natural resource shared with eight national and international states: New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana, in the United States; and Tamaulipas, Nuevo León, Coahuila de Zaragoza, and Chihuahua, in Mexico.
