Colter (1869 – 1958) designed and decorated an 80-room hotel including its lounges, sunken garden, four dining areas, and other gracious public spaces. Our room was quite large, very clean, and comfortable. Although on an active rail line, it was relatively quiet for sleep. The bed was also very comfortable. It was nice to relax in the public areas with a glass of wine and listen to the piano and guitar music being played on the evening we were there.
