The Brain Lab works on both fundamental and applied research related to the design of agile, energy-efficient, and trustworthy hardware for AI applications.Our approach is to use the latest findings in neuroscience to inform the development of new machine learning algorithms (e.g. state-of-the-art spiking neural networks) that can efficiently map to new hardware devices (e.g. memristors).
