It's far from dead, but I also wouldn't say it's fine. There's less than half as many raiding Disc priests as the next lowest healer, and it's the least played mythic+ healer. I am not arguing it's dead or dying, but it's completely reasonable to say it's rare, and more rare than it was in 8.0. 4 Likes.

Pro: If you are with a tank that can mitigate/self heal decently, and the DPS prevent/avoid taking extra damage, atonement will keep everyone up just fine and you can spam DPS away with the rest of the group.

Myth3: Disc needs to predict damage to better prevent it. Again, all healers are better when predicting damage and using cooldowns appropriately.
