With the new flyer nerf on Ragnarok get a griffin since they have decent health and are the fastest flyer in the game. To tame one use a smallish cage to trap the griffin and then knock it out and tame. Then use it to steal the Wyvern egg(s) and then raise the baby(s). Bit of fun but i have seen a video where a guy tames a ichthyornis (seagull) and grapples it whilst its flying, you can then use the whistle commands to make the bird fly to desired location. As this is one of the birds that you can increase flying speed it might just be the fastest flyer mount in the game at the moment lol.

The three realms are technically "caves". yes, they have a skybox, but they exist as caves under the main map. You'll need to add a startup argument to the server to allow you to ride fliers in those realms, the one you need to add is: -ForceAllowCaveFlyers. That will allow you to ride any kind of flier in the other realms.

The best flyer is hands down the Argentavis. The argy. It can pick up Dino’s, fly long distant, and can carry a lot. Build a trap with Dino gates you’ll only need 4 and two gates. Go to the west beach area near the snow and agro abs argy then walk them into the trap. The Quetzal is the best but the Argy is probably easier.
