The Flash Heal changes help a ton in keeping people topped up in emergencies. When the group is taking a lot of damage, the Train of Thought talent allows you to get out a lot of shields while spamming Flash Heal on those who need healing. Once the group is stabilized you can start healing through Atonement again.
Ilvl doesn't really matter, it is 100% skill based. Ilvl 385 can easily do +15s if you know exactly how to play your class to it's full extent (cc, interrupts, slows, burst Windows, etc), or struggle to do +5 if you don't know. If you haven't done any keys, start at +2 and just keep working up until you struggle.
